Tarangire National Park is home to African Elephants and Giant Baobab trees located 120km southwest of Arusha city, northern Tanzania.

Known as the garden for Baobab trees also the Tarangire National Park host large number Elephants per square kilometers than any other national park in the country. The park name originated from Tarangire River that flows across the park area supporting wildlife existence during the dry season.
Visiting Tarangire National Park you can witness numbers of elephants, giant baobab trees, hyenas, wildebeests, cheetahs, leopards and the threatened and endangered species include the ebony trees, tree climbing python, African wild dogs, lesser kudu and beisa oryx.
Tarangire also is a paradise for bird life with over 450 species found in the park.The activities to do to the Tarangire National Park include game drives, walking safaris, hot air balloon, bird watching, camping.
