Weather in Tanzania varies due to regions and altitude. Along the coastal regions and Zanzibar islands become hot and humid while around Northern and Southern Highlands of the country are always cool. There are two mainly seasons in Tanzania: the dry season and rainy season.
The rainy season (wet season) begin from March to June (heavy rainy) followed by short rainy around November to December. The dry season which is the most preferred season for safari by many begin from July to October and January to February. Normally temperatures in Tanzania range from 22°C to 31 °C in most part of the country and during night the temperature drops between 10°C to 22°C.
