Lake Manyara National Park is another national park to the northern Tanzania located below the Great Rift Valley wall in between Arusha and Manyara region.
With a spectacular view of the rift valley escarpment, Manyara is the famous biosphere reserve hosting dense vegetation’s, underground water streams, tree climbing lions and other wild animals include elephants, giraffes, impalas, wildebeest, warthog, zebra, primates and more than 350 bird species found to the area.
Another features to the park include hot water springs to the area with water temperature around 70 degrees warm enough to boil egg. The Manyara Lake is a soda lake hosting over million flamingoes and other water birds. The major activities to the park include game viewing, night game drive, canopy walk and canoeing.
