Arusha National Park

Arusha National Park is the nearest National Park to Arusha town. Nestled almost 25 km away from the Arusha city center the park host varieties of attractions include Mount Meru the second highest mountain in the country, Momela lakes hosting flamingoes and other water birds , Tululusia waterfalls, Ngurdoto crater, ever green vegetation’s, wild animals such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, warthog, bushbuck, black and white colobus monkey and baboons. Most of tourism activities to the area include game viewing, bird watching, walking safari, mountain climbing, canoeing and horse riding safari. The park is popular for day trip safari while for mountain climbing may take almost three days trekking.
